Last year I had the privilege of singing at one of the biggest churches in Tennessee, World Outreach Church, in Murfreesboro, TN and it was such an amazing humbling experience. Being on that stage with those kids and worshipping the love of my life, Jesus Christ, was more than words can describe. I was recently sent the video, and I thought I would share it with all of you! Tonight I did a cover of Alan Jackson’s “Sissy’s Song” as requested by my wonderful Aunt Gi Gi The song tonight is dedicated to the lambert family and all of you out there who may know that family. I received the news from my Aunt a couple nights ago and was devastated to find out about the tragedy that took place. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of The Lamberts. It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged last! Life has been CRAZY!! I recently went back to my hometown Wichita, KS to get married this past summer. My gorgeous wife Anna and I were hitched on June 9th, 2012 and it has been amazing ever since. Anna and I now reside in Nashville, TN where she is enjoying her new career as a 4th grade teacher in Williamson County Schools, and I’m and back hard at work on my career as a Singer/Songwriter. I wanted to bring you all up to date on what is going on in my life and what to expect in the months to come! As most of you know I have a band know as “The Skunks”! We recently wrapped up the “A” side of our new album and are ready to release that bad boy THIS OCTOBER!! Along with that I have been able to do a lot of writing and co-writing for more records. I will begin work on a solo album that will mark the cornerstone of my young career as an artist. This album will be known as “The Red Album”. Why? Well, the songs on this album all represent me as an artist to the fullest. I have really been able to dig deep and figure out my sound and what I want from my music, as if these tunes came straight from my blood. They will be the very DNA that describes who I am and what I do best. Get it blood, DNA, red? No? Just go with it! Along with the release of the new Skunk Record and the recording of My Solo Record, I will be taking on a project on the side to keep me fresh. That project will be strictly nothing but good nasty solid POP music. My good friend and writing partner David Smith (www.thisisdavidsmith.com) will be kicking out tons of tunes that range from Rap and Hip-Hop, to Pop and Electro just because that is another area of music we have a passion for that we don’t always get to showcase. So I think you’ll dig it!! Wish me luck and stay tuned in everyday for exciting news, brand new tracks, snippets, videos, and releases!

It’s been awhile. Mostly due to the fact that I just got married!!!! Anyways, I wanted to keep you all up to date with what’s going on recently. I’ve been writing, writing, writing like crazy. Tons of cowrites and 3am writes, I began to stack up a line of country tunes for all sorts of different artist. This is new for me, but my influences in pop really help bring out this genre. I will be posting some songs as I go along on my site, so keep coming back to hear more…

As you know I just released a new EP “Seasons”, which is available now on iTunes!! However, I’m not waiting around another year to get more music done for ya. I’m already back in the studio again. This time with “The Skunks”, my nasty funk band!! We have spent over 50 hours in the studio recently and still have more dates coming up. Looks like a full album is around the corner. We will be doing an “A” and “B” side to this album. The whole CD will be completely motown/old school vibe. It’s gonna be KILLER! The “A” side is hoping to release in May and the “B” side will probably release in August! Be on the lookout for this album, you won’t wanna miss it!!
